Loot Crate Surplus Sale – Mystery Box Unboxing Video

Right, we’re down to two boxes left to unbox! This one is from the Loot Crate Surplus Sale that happened a few months ago.

This box is a bit of a punt from the Loot Gaming April Metro Box Unboxing. After unboxing that box and selling a few items, I had a bit of cash, so I took a bit of a punt on this box. This was part of a surplus sale from Loot Crate, who sold a few boxes for $10, so I decided to take a punt to see if I get anything good. Turns out I do!

Please note, this video contains Star Wars: The Force Awakens spoilers. I never thought I’d have to write this (seriously, it’s been over six months).

We’ve got about 3 more unboxings to do, I think. To get to view them first,  subscribe to my Youtube Channel here so you don’t miss them.

Loot Gaming May 2016 Unboxing – Dungeon

So I’m a bit behind on these (more to follow) but here’ Loot Gaming May 2016 Unboxing. This month’s theme is “Dungeon”, and actually has a few franchises I like! Doom and The Legend of Zelda in particular. May’s Loot Gaming unboxing was a bit of a bust but the stuff went for a fair bit on eBay so overall it wasn’t too bad.

This month’s box was stupidly delayed due to one item leaking in the box, so expect another review very shortly from Loot Gaming.

All in all, it was better than last month but overall not stunning. I like the glass, and the items would be nice if you were a fan of the franchise. Part of me wishes for slightly more retro gear, but that’s just me.

I’ve subscribed for 3 more months, as next month have a couple of franchises I am a fan of (Overwatch, Team Fortress 2 and Street Fighter), so that makes me happy. You can see what happens with next month’s box if you subscribe to my Youtube Channel here.

Zavvi Zbox Welcome Box – Unboxing

So here we go another unboxing video! I’m enjoying doing these but this one is slightly different, this is Zavvi’s Zbox.

This box is slightly different as their deal was 3 boxes for £20. The three boxes are a Marvel Mystery Box, a Welcome Box and one of the monthly subscription boxes. This is a review is for the Welcome Box, which you can see below.

Zavvi Zbox Discount Code

I talk about in the review that I paid £15 for all 3 boxes.  This is achievable through Quidco, a service that offers cashback for various retailers. Right now they’re offering £5 cashback per subscription box service. You get paid slightly later but it’s well worth getting.

Is The Zavvi Zbox Welcome Box Worth It?

Overall, this box is probably not worth the £20 if you wish to paid for it, the mug is quite nice and the Lego is a welcome gift but the calendar is an absolutely terrible item for the box. It seems like it’s just a waste. However for 3 boxes for £20 deal (or £15 if you buy via Quidco), you do get some nice items.

What Do You Think?

If you have purchased this box, let me know your thoughts? Did you get something different? Was the calendar as useless as I found it? Please let me know in the comments!

Unboxing Loot Gaming’s March 2016 Box – Legacy

One of the most popular posts since relaunch has been the Unboxing of the Mass Effect N7 Loot Crate, so when I saw that Loot Crate had introduced a Loot Gaming box, I thought about doing another couple of unboxing videos. After dropping about £75 for 3 subscription boxes, I received the first one over the weekend. Here is the video of the unboxing.

Overall, the t-shirt is the beauty of this box. I wore it to Play It! Manchester later that day and did drunkenly check myself out in the mirror wearing it, it’s that good. The scarf and socks are nice and well made if you’re a fan of the franchises. I’m very happy with the badges too as they seem like nice pieces, but the figurine I couldn’t really see a point to, which is a shame. So yes, the t-shirt I’d probably pay about £15 for, which I’d keep.

Also, according to the email received from Loot Crate, apparently there was also a BloodsportsTV game which, errr…wasn’t in the box from what I can see. Rubbish.

I’ve at least 2 more of these to do. Next month has seemingly franchises I don’t care much about (yes, I never got into Fallout 4 or Resident Evil, which is a big thing from next month’s box), so maybe the final one after that may be a lot more positive. Who knows? Be sure to like the video and subscribe to my YouTube channel so that you will find out about them first!

Rocket League Review

I had a bit of time over my Birthday Weekend (I turned 32 last week), so I thought I’d do a quick Rocket League review, probably one of my favourite games at the moment.

In short, Rocket League is a great game, and worth checking out if you’re an Xbox Live subscriber (or indeed on the PC or PS4), I’d recommend get this. It’s a great game to pass time with and you can easily play for 30 minutes or 2 or 3 hours. Online play really is where it’s at, as although there are some modes that you can play offline, it doesn’t have the same competitiveness as playing against your fellow human. As such, if you don’t play online, I’d probably skip this game. However, if you have Xbox Live, then this is a great game to add to your collection.

To find out more about Rocket League, be sure to check out their official site. You can get the game on Xbox One, or on PC via Steam.
